New Courses for Term 4 2018!

Snapshots in Time

Wednesdays at Coorparoo, Brisbane Term 4:
In this history based unit, students will explore a different historical period each week, beginning with the Stone Age and ending in the 1960s!
This unit will take a hands-on look at the lives and technologies of the peoples living in these times.
The unit will include an ‘incursion’ from the Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology in which museum staff will explore stone age tools as well as medieval arms and armour. The day will also include a mummification workshop (don’t try this at home, kids!) and kids archery.

Budding Biologists

Fridays at Buderim, Term 4:

Kids will LOVE this hands-on science course exploring DNA, anatomy, microscopy, bacteria, moulds, fungi and much, much more! Students will also have the opportunity to complete an inquiry into their choice of the biological sciences.

New Course for Term 3 2018!

Rube Goldberg Challenge!

Welcome to one of the most fun-filled physics courses ever! In this course students get to learn all about forces and simple machines as they explore and create their own Rube Goldberg machines.

Don’t know what that is? A Rube Goldberg machine is an over-engineered compound machine designed to complete a simple task. Take a look at these chain reaction machines on Youtube:

This course is available at our Coorparoo class (Wednesdays, 9:30 -3:00) and our Buderim class (Fridays, 9:30 – 3:00).
