Extension Education is delighted to launch its new product range – Extension Education @Home.
With so many families homeschooling by choice or by necessity as we cope with school closures and social distancing, Extension Education is offering a range of Learning Boxes delivered to your door.
Each Learning Box contains 20 activities on a high interest theme, and include many hands-on activities. All materials, except for a few standard items such as scissors, ruler and other items usually found in the home, are included in the box. No need to shop for stationery, equipment and craft materials.
Themes so far are:
– It’s a Mystery (mystery stories and forensic science)
– Do you see what eye see (optics and illusions)
– Let’s make history (technology through the ages)
– Making Maths (hands-on maths)
– It’s a Chain Reaction (Rube Goldberg machines, simple machines)
All boxes are priced between $40 and $60 per single child box (double and triple boxes available at a discount)

We are also now offering the One Day School via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Term 2 Tuesday program: Science Fair
Students design an investigation using the scientific method to test a hypothesis, carry out experiments, analyse results and draw conclusions. Cost $80 per full school day, plus a one-off fee of $50 for resources which will be delivered to your door. Discount available for more than one child attending or for attending both Tuesday and Thursday classes.

Term 2 Thursday program: Ancient Egypt
An in depth study of life in Ancient Egypt with a focus on Ancient Egyptian technology. Cost $80 per full school day, plus a one-off fee of $50 for resources which will be delivered to your door. Discount available for more than one child attending or for attending both Tuesday and Thursday classes.
